Work Essays
At work, I read (google style) for hours. Lots of interesting but forgettable surveys and tips on how to live my life (ie why I should be unhappy with myself and the world). I started to feel there’s a better way to waste my employer’s money so I’ve begun to write short essays in response.
It’s the one skill I think I’ve remembered from school. I’ve written about intellectual cities, the most compelling figure of the 20th century, the joy of sustainable populations, etc. They’re veritably terrible but I feel better being somewhat productive with my day. And who knows, I may soon write something cohesive enough to share.
