I’m really self centered and I often feel guilty about it. I then placate this guilt with thoughts of the Peace Corps or giving away a ton of money to international aid organizations or getting really involved with local politics or to get back into church activities (‘get back into’? who am i kidding). But in the back of my head, I know the only way I’ll ever really overcome the feeling is to care about just one person more than I care about myself. So, here’s to you, future person I care about more than myself, I hope you’ve solved my problem.
